I love working with my students because I have a heart for the students on the spectrum. I love working with behaviors that others feel can’t change and trying different intervention strategies to help the students learn and be effective in themselves and school.
I love working at CES, The Broach School, because of the family-like atmosphere, the fact that we welcome all students, whether they are academically challenged or not, and the fact that all students are given the tools they need to make their education a success. For the last 33 years, I have worked in primary education, which is the best fit for me. I love their desire to learn new things and their curiosity about the world around them.
I love working teaching at a CES school because of my fellow staff members. I feel like I truly have a second family with my fellow staff members & the support from my principal & assistant principal is incredible!
I love Foundation students because they appreciate all you do for them. I really enjoy seeing their growth in the ability to become acceptable adults, and to think I had a small part in it makes me HAPPY!
What I love about teaching at CES school are the students! Because we foster a culture that promotes spiritual and mental growth, students can reach their academic goals. Having the privilege to see them attain those scholastic aspirations is both a blessing and a reward.
What I love about working with our students is watching them grow and being able to share the love of Jesus with them. Everyone has an equal opportunity to learn and be accepted into the CES family (Gods Family)
This is not a traditional school, so we set different expectations for each of our students that will help them succeed, whether it be in academics, social, or behavior.
Teaching at the Broach school has been like having a second family for me. I have been supported and respected by all, it`s been a blessing to work here. Each year challenges me to find ways to help students learn in their own way and feel accepted. I love my students to feel safe, be excellent in what they do, and just do the right thing in life. My life with my students is a service to them and God.
I enjoy the academic freedom to set up my classes in the best way for my students and the support that CES provides to facilitate that freedom.
I love the instant gratification with the students. The smiles you get when the student gets it. The students also show great zeal for learning.
I realized that many of the kids here come from challenging backgrounds; I felt that I could make a difference in their lives by working here. I want to provide a supportive and nurturing environment so every child can succeed regardless of their challenges.
I love teaching at CES because the teachers work at the student's pace, instead of all students having to keep up with the teacher’s pace.
I love to see their growth academically throughout the year. To see their confidence in themselves and their abilities flourish. I love to hear from their parents about how they love to come to school and are excited in the morning to do so. This is why we do what we do as teachers, plant, and water the seeds of the future to make this world a better place, one amazing student at a time.
I love teaching at CES because CES schools offer an individualized education plan for each student. So, as a teacher, I can begin to meet the needs of my students where they truly are when they enter my classroom. Then I get the privilege of watching them grow. I also love that CES does not demand that teachers follow a timed pacing guide which gives the student and me, the time they need to stay working on a concept until the student has truly mastered it.
